Are you fully insured and is your equipment PAT tested?
Yes. AO Events carries public liability insurance and uses PAT-tested equipment, which most hotels and venues now require as standard.
We can provide copies of PLI and PAT documentation for your venue, planner or corporate event organiser on request. If your venue has specific health and safety requirements, please mention this when you enquire.

How much does a wedding DJ cost in Cheshire?
Pricing for a wedding DJ in Cheshire depends on the date, venue, timings, access and the package you choose. Rather than a single one-size-fits-all price, AO Events provides a tailored quote for each wedding.

Can your DJs work from a playlist or take requests on the night?
Yes. We actively encourage couples and clients to share the music they love. You can provide:
- “Must play” songs and genres
- “Do not play” tracks or styles
- Key songs such as first dance, last song, bouquet toss etc.

Do you provide microphones and lighting with your wedding DJ packages?
Yes. Our DJ setups are designed to look clean and professional in wedding venues. We usually provide:
- Professional sound system appropriate for the room size
- DJ booth and lighting effects for the dancefloor
- Microphone for speeches or announcements (if needed)

What size dancefloor do I need for my wedding or event?
As a simple rule, plan space for roughly a third of your guests to be dancing at once. For example:
- Up to ~80 guests: smaller dancefloors (e.g. 10x10, 12x12)
- ~100–140 guests: 12x12 or 14x14 works well in most venues
- Larger guest numbers: 14x14, 16x16 or custom layouts
We will recommend a size based on your venue, guest numbers and chosen style – 3D Infinity Dancefloor, white LED or black & white chequered.

What is the difference between the 3D Infinity Dancefloor and a standard LED floor?
The 3D Infinity Dancefloor uses mirrored panels and programmable LEDs to create a deep, “endless” effect under your feet. It is ideal for statement weddings, luxury events, premieres and branded parties.
A standard white LED dancefloor offers a clean, elegant look with twinkling lights – perfect for classic weddings and neutral styling. Our black & white chequered dancefloor gives a retro or ballroom feel.

Is the Infinity Dancefloor safe for heels and wedding dresses?
Yes. The 3D Infinity Dancefloor is designed for events and is safe for high heels and wedding dresses. The surface is solid and weight-bearing; we simply ask that no sharp objects are dragged across it and that any drinks spillages are cleaned promptly to keep it looking its best.

Do your photo booths come with unlimited prints?

How many uplighters do I need for my venue?

How far in advance should I book AO Events?
Popular dates, such as summer Saturdays and key winter weekends, can book up 12–24 months in advance, especially for the 3D Infinity Dancefloor and combined DJ + dancefloor packages.
We always recommend enquiring as soon as you have confirmed your venue and date, even if you are still finalising timings or exact services.

How do I confirm a booking with AO Events?
Once you are happy with your quote, we will send a booking form and deposit details. Your date is confirmed when:
- The booking form has been completed
- The required deposit has been received

When do you arrive to set up and how long does it take?
Setup time depends on what you have booked and the venue access. For example, a simple DJ and small dancefloor can be installed more quickly than a full 3D Infinity Dancefloor, uplighting and multiple photo points.
We will discuss access times with you and your venue, and typically arrive well before guest arrival or room turnaround to avoid disruption to your day.

Do you charge extra for travel, parking or London events?
Any travel, accommodation, parking, congestion or ULEZ charges are listed clearly on your quote. These charges are separate from your hire price and ensure we can access and deliver safely to your venue, particularly in city centre and London locations.
